The Scientific Board of the DWI

The six members of the scientific management of the DWI - Leibniz Institute were appointed jointly with RWTH Aachen University and hold chairs at RWTH Aachen University. In accordance with the interdisciplinary research approach, they belong to different faculties and subject groups. The scientific management is supplemented by independent junior researchers and associated professors. This very broad personnel and interdisciplinary structure is made possible by a very successful acquisition of third-party funds in the field of basic research and by the Leibniz Institute's cooperation with RWTH Aachen University.
