APPLICATION
We look forward to receiving applications from young female researchers who want to advance their academic careers in the field of active and inactive materials:
- Very accomplished late-stage PhD students with a clear innovative research vision
- Accomplished female researchers on the postdoc career level
- Very early-stage independent group leaders (max. 7 years after receiving PhD + explained reason for break)
- Re-applications are possible if you have not been one of the 6 finalists at previous WIMA events
Within WIMA, we keep the criteria more flexible, as we do not want to exclude highly successful late-stage PhD graduates either. The only restriction is the 7-year limit following the PhD. Scientists with faculty or tenure track positions are not eligible to participate.
