DWI again receives the TOTAL E-QUALITY award

For the second time in a row, the DWI has received the Total E-QUALITY Award – this time for the years 2022 to 2024. We owe this award especially to the progressive work of our Equal Opportunity and Diversity Team ("AG Chancengleichheit und Diversität") (pictured here) to which our Equal Opportunity Commissioner Elisabeth Heine (left side) also belongs. The award ceremony will take place on October 25 at the Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen in Erfurt.

The commitment to equal opportunities and diversity forms an essential basis for the Institute's work and is firmly anchored in the Institute's structure. The DWI sees the diversity of its members and employees as an enrichment and a source of inventiveness to achieve new knowledge and methods for the common goals in science and research. Fair treatment of each other is a matter of course - regardless of gender, religion, age, origin, health impairment and status.

The TOTAL E-QUALITY Deutschland e. V. award recognizes organizations from economy, science and administration that are particularly committed to equal opportunities for women and men and to promoting diversity in their institutions. The DWI supports equal opportunities for employees in many diverse ways. Examples include an open and team-oriented working atmosphere in an international environment, flexible working hours, part-time work, temporary release of attendance obligations, mobile working, a parent-child office, and support in finding childcare.
