Dr.-Ing. Ramin Nasehi
Research interest
Dr.-Ing. Ramin Nasehi is interested in cell mechanobiology and integrating analytical and numerical approaches with in vitro measurements to explore the secrets behind the primary cues that regulate cells’ fate and functions. He has a strong background in fluid mechanics and soft tissue mechanics. He develops bioreactor and engineering systems for the fabrication of complex in vitro tissues that resemble the structure and physiology of native tissue. His approach is to employ engineering tools such as 3D bioprinting, automated liquid dispensing, and casting together with relying on the self-assembly of cells to form complex in vitro tissue models in both low and high-throughput.
Ramin Nasehi is part of the RG De Laporte.
