Tanja Topic, M.Sc.

Tanja Topic´s research focuses on developing living colloidal building blocks for the purpose of bioprinting, working at an intersection of cell culture, biomaterials and microfluidics. The motivation for her work stems from the demand for growing compartmentalized tissues with high cell densities outside the body. Within the scope of the NEOLIVER project she develops microfluidic platforms and uses novel synthetic precursors to produce these printable building blocks with the aim to grow functional and vascularized liver tissue.
