InFlow

Innovative Flow Chemistry for sustainable formulations

As part of the In-Flow project, DWI intends to further develop its innovative silicon dioxide encapsulation technology in the direction of technical readiness. The synthesis of polymer building blocks and their formulation will be realized by means of microfluidic process steps. This is an important step towards technical feasibility, which requires the availability of functional components and integrated processes for the production of sufficient product quantities. In this project, the DWI is working with its partners the University of Liège, the University of Maastricht and the Sirris research institute on a transnational basis.

The IN FLOW project is carried out within the framework of the Interreg V-A Euregio Meuse-Rhine Programme, with €2.1 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). By investing EU funds in Interreg projects, the European Union invests directly in economic development, innovation, territorial development, social inclusion and education in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.
