Paphassorn Karoon-ngampun, M.Sc.

Paphassorn Karoon-ngampun's project investigates how microgel properties, such as stiffness, composition and architecture, guide the formation of multilayered human cardiac organoids and the spatial organization of cardiac cell lineages. She is also interested in cardiac tissue remodelling in presence of epicardial cells in a cardiac organoid model. By combining biomaterials engineering with multicellular cardiac models, she aims to develop a physiologically relevant high-throughput platform for cardiac organoid development, disease modelling and drug screening.
