PhD student
Ninon Möhl
Research interest
Ninon has a background in chemistry and specialized in computational chemistry, polymers and (bio)materials. At DWI, she will be working together with the Kramann group at the Uniklinik Aachen to develop high-throughput platforms for kidney disease modelling. Therefore, she will produce preprogrammed microgels from macromolecules comprising different reactive groups to ensure rapid crosslinking through microfluidic techniques. The microgels will be functionalized and embedded in hydrogels to grow co-cultures and recreate the kidney architecture. You can find the corresponding project here.
Ninon is part of the RG De Laporte.
