M.Sc. Haoyu Huang
Haoyu Huang's research focuses on the design of polyphenol-modified dendrimers for the fabrication of responsive microgels and nanogels via supramolecular interactions. Specifically, he modifies third-generation polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers with polyphenols and employs physical crosslinking with VCL, followed by additional crosslinking using stimuli-responsive linkers to synthesize nanogels. Alternatively, microgels are assembled through supramolecular interactions between polyphenols and proteins.
These engineered nanogels and microgels exhibit distinctive responsive properties and biological activities, making them promising candidates for tumor and inflammation therapy.
