PhD student
Misael Real-Enriquez, M.Sc.
Misael Real-Enriquez has a background in Chemical Engineering and has worked with (bio)materials for many years. At DWI, he is part of the Heartbeat project, developing thermoresponsive microgel rods that can contract, expand, and align on queue and under an external magnetic field to form interactive 3D constructs for human heart tissue engineering. He also develops polymer-based building blocks for aligned granular scaffolds, focusing on tuning material properties to meet the requirements of different biomedical applications.
Misael Real-Enriquez is part of the RG De Laporte.
