Dr. Bibrita Bhar

Dr. Bibrita Bhar specializes in biomaterials and biofabrication. At DWI, her research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of bio-based microgels with defined shapes and their assembly into complex biological architectures using advanced bioprinting approaches. These engineered microgel assemblies are used to create dynamic 3D cellular microenvironments for investigating cell behavior and developing physiological tissue models. This work aims to advance the development of 3D in vitro models for tissue engineering applications.
