Catarina Tavares, M.Sc.

Catarina Tavares has a background in Nanotechnology Engineering. At DWI, she is part of the European project “ReWIRE,” which aims to develop effective combinatorial therapies for the repair and restoration of neurological functions following spinal cord injury. Within the project, she works on the microfluidic production of injectable microgels for the delivery of growth factors and other neurotherapeutics to promote regeneration of the spinal cord after injury.

Catarina Tavares is part of the RG De Laporte.
