Camilla Mussoni
Camilla Mussoni’s research focuses on the fabrication of novel membrane inserts for tissue culture. With a background in biomedical engineering and biofabrication, her interest lies in the development of physiologically relevant in vitro models using novel biomaterials. She aims to use electrohydrodynamic methods to produce soft, hydrogel-based substrates for epithelial tissue models in a high-throughput manner. Such membranes can be employed in complex in vitro models for studies in mechanobiology and toxicology, as well as for general drug screening.
Camilla Mussoni is part of the RG De Laporte.
