PhD student
Anna Jasny, M.Sc.
Research interest
Anna Jasny is working on the further development of negative photochromic molecular photoswitches. Hereby, she focuses on the functionalization of these molecules towards water solubility as well as switching with red and infrared light. Furthermore, she works on possible applications of these molecules in the context of catalysis of polymerization reactions and in the field of photoswitchable bases or acids. Ultimately, Anna aims at controlling chemical or biological systems externally by irradiation with light.
Anna Jasny is part of the RG Hecht.
