FAIRmat made it!
09.07.2021
The Joint Science Conference (GWK) has decided to include the FAIRmat consortium in the federal and state funding of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). FAIRmat represents a wide variety of researchers from universities and leading institutions in Germany, including the DWI as supporting institute and co-applicant. FAIRmat contributes to strengthen the DWI’s focus on data-driven approaches in the future.
To realize the potential of scientific data, a FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-purposable - data infrastructure (DI) is needed. FAIRMat is committed to create such an infrastructure in the field of condensed-matter physics and the chemical physics of solids.
