Functional fibrin-based hydrogels for controlling cell/biomaterial interactions in biohybrid implants (402991504)
The goal of this project is to develop a functional molecular tool-box for customised fibrin-based hydrogels to enable the synthesis of patient-specific cardiovascular implants. The chemical composition, morphology and mechanical properties of the gels are characterised. Also, the influence of the gels on the cells as well as the cell/biomaterial interactions are analysed.
