Dr. Veronica Estrada
Research interest
Dr. rer. nat. Veronica Estrada is a bioglogist with a focus on neurobiology. Her research focuses on de- and regeneration processes in the central nervous system. She is very experienced in establishing and applying various trauma models for brain and spinal cord in small (mouse, rat) and large (minipig) animals. In the RG De Laporte, Veronica provides her neuroscientific expertise and her experience in the development and in vivo-testing of therapeutic treatments to establish and optimize therapies with advanced materials and thus pave the way towards their clinical application.
