Research interest

Christiane Golchert is researching sensors with a tRNA structure that detect small molecules, such as antibiotics, and proteins, emitting a measurable fluorescent signal. The goal of this research is to detect viral surface proteins to quickly and easily detect disease. Another research focus is the expression of supercharged proteins in E. coli. These proteins are used for the production of proton conducting membranes.

Christiane Golchert is part of the RG Herrmann.
