Imaging Unit
The Imaging Unit supports you in the high-resolution structural, morphological and molecular characterization of a wide range of samples. Using MALDI-TOF Imaging, we analyze and visualize the spatial distribution of molecules directly within biological tissues, polymers and other complex materials. For the investigation of surfaces, particles, interfaces and internal structures, SEM, FESEM and TEM are available, providing resolution from the micrometer down to the nanometer scale. In addition, we provide consultation on the selection of suitable imaging and microscopy techniques, sample preparation, the development of appropriate measurement strategies, as well as data evaluation and interpretation.
We offer:
- MALDI-TOF Imaging
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM)
- Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
- Molecular distribution analysis
- Particle size and morphology analysis
- Surface and interface characterization
- Nanostructure analysis
- Characterization of biological and polymeric materials
- Sample preparation
- Method development
- Data evaluation and interpretation
