Biomolecule Production & Analytics Unit

The unit offers comprehensive protein production from the laboratory to the pilot scale and covers the entire biotechnology process, from upstream development to the purified product. Our infrastructure includes shake flask cultivation as well as fermenters with volumes of 10 L, 40 L, and 100 L, enabling flexible scaling of microbial and other biotechnology production processes.  We support the entire upstream process, including strain handling, media preparation, cultivation, process monitoring, and scale-up, as well as all key downstream processes—from cell harvest and cell lysis through clarification, filtration, concentration, and chromatography to purification and final product characterization. Thanks to this integrated infrastructure, we can support protein production projects from initial process development through to the provision of larger quantities of material for research, application testing, and industrial development.
