At the ReWIRE Summer School and Network Meeting, held from 2 to 4 July 2025 in Pisa, doctoral candidates, supervisors, and network partners came together for intensive scientific exchange and targeted professional development. Visits to leading research institutes provided insights into current neurotechnology research, while soft skills workshops strengthened key competences such as scientific writing, safety and regulatory aspects, as well as collaboration and emotional intelligence. The event concluded with the ReWIRE Network Meeting, featuring project updates from the doctoral candidates and an inspiring exchange with Prof. Wolfram Tetzlaff on translational neurorepair research and career pathways – a compact yet formative highlight for the ReWIRE community.
