StädteRegion Aachen: Sciencelink Networking Event

Within the framework of the "ScienceLink" project, the Economic Development Agency of the Aachen Region invites small and medium-sized companies to visit the DWI - Leibniz - Institute for Interactive Materials.

The event is sponsored by the "ScienceLink" project and will take place on Wednesday, 13 November 2019 at 16:30 - 19:00 at the DWI - Leibniz - Institut für Interaktive Materialien e.V. in Aachen, Forckenbeckstr. 50.

In addition to a presentation of the institute by the scientific management, current research projects and examples of cooperation with companies will be presented. At the DWI, research will focus on innovative textile and surface coatings, membrane technology and novel approaches for the treatment of spinal cord injuries. For this reason, the developments are applied, for example, in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, surface finishing and chemical process engineering. DWI also has an analytical and service unit in the form of the Centre for Chemical Polymer Technology, whose expertise is also available to external customers.

At the end of the day, there is the possibility of a tour of the institute as well as an exchange with DWI staff at a little snack.
