Interactive Materials Talks "Soft Robotics"
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. 🤖
Soft robots can deform, adapt to complex surroundings and safely interact with delicate objects or living tissue – capabilities that are difficult to achieve with conventional rigid machines. From artificial muscles and adaptive grippers to small robots operating in confined environments, soft robotics is expanding what machines can do.
On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the DWI will bring together researchers from across these disciplines for the “𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 – 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀.”
