Sonja Storch, M.Sc.
Research interest
Sonja Storch's research focuses on mechanoresponsive compounds in polymers that change their optical properties when force is applied (optical force probes, OFPs) and survive the high temperatures of industrial plastics processing undamaged, which enables their use in technical materials. Her work includes the synthesis and characterization of the thermal, optical and mechanochemical properties of OFPs, as well as their incorporation into various types of polymers.
