Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Jockenhövel becomes associated scientist at DWI

Since March 2019, Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Jockenhövel has joined the DWI team as an associated scientist.

Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Jockenhövel holds the NRW scoring professorship BioTex - Biohybrid & Medical Textiles, which forms a bridge between material sciences, engineering sciences and medicine. In addition, Professor Jockenhövel is Director of the Aachen-Maastricht-Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM), a cross-border initiative of RWTH Aachen University, Maastricht University and the Fraunhofer Institute IME that pursues the development of new biomaterials from biomass to application and is located on the Brightland Chemelot Campus in Geleen/Sittard, NL.
