Women Interactive Materials Award (WIMA) 2026
For the 6th edition of the Women Interactive Materials Award (WIMA) we are looking for ambitious early-career female scientists who are ready to make their work visible and expand their network at an international level.
This award aims to provide a platform for talented, creative, and passionate young female researchers working in the field of active and interactive materials. At the award ceremony on September 23, the spotlight will be on six exceptional candidates, who will be selected to present their work.
We invite late-stage PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers and very early-stage independent group leaders to apply and present their bold ideas and challenging perspectives to an academic and industrial jury: CTO of ALTANA AG Dr. Petra Severit, last year’s winner Laura Rijns and WIMA Founder Laura De Laporte.
