Development of a membrane spinning head for the single-step production of functionalized filaments

We establish the development of functionalized polymer and protein fibers using a spinning head with an integrated membrane. The properties of the spinning head allow controlled precipitation and subsequent functionalization of the fiber already in the spinning head. This enables us to continuously synthesize functionalized full fibers in a one-step procedure.
