Design of Copper Sulfide Nanoparticle-Loaded Nanogels

for Photoacoustic Imaging-Guided Tumor Photothermal Therapy (GZ1505)

The development of novel nanocarrier materials for loading of therapeutic and molecular imaging elements for effective delivery to tumor site is a challenging topic in current medicine. The groups of Prof. Dr. Andrij Pich and Prof. Dr. Xiangyang Shi are working on the synthesis of biocompatible and biodegradable nanogels loaded with copper sulfide nanoparticles for photoacoustic imaging-guided photothermal therapy of tumors as part of the Sino-German Research Cooperation.
