PhD student
Ilka Rose, M. Sc.
Research interest
The research of Ilka Rose deals with the fabrication and further development of polymer membranes. One focus is on hollow fiber membranes for the medical field. The focus is on surface treatment to improve the hemocompatibility and biocompatibility of the membrane surface. The effort of membrane fabrication as well as the post-treatment of the membrane should be kept to a minimum. The target of research is to fabricate a heparinized polymer membrane that does not differ in its properties from a conventional membrane for the respective application.
Ilka Rose is part of the RG Wessling.
