Hannah Roth, M.Sc.
Hannah Roth's research deals with the fabrication and modification of membranes. A focus is put on the formation of hollow fiber membranes by phase inversion. In particular, she investigates the superposition of phase inversion with chemical reactions, ionic interactions and interactions with novel additives. The aim is to create membranes with unique separation properties, functionalizations, improved performance or in simplified manufacturing processes. Since the properties of the membranes can be tailored, these membranes offer possible applications in various fields, e.g. in chemistry, medicine and in the treatment of drinking and industrial waste water.
