Research interest
The research of Dustin Rasch is focused on the synthesis of mechanofluorochromic sensors prepared by an organic and polymer chemical approach. Dustin has special interest in the use of inter- and intramolecular interactions to realize this goal. He works on a pyrene-based system to exploit excimer formation for force sensing. At the moment, his macromolecular fluorescent sensors are incorporated into soft hydrogels, to evaluate mechanical effects within them.
Dustin Rasch is part of the RG Göstl.
